Peanut Butter Fudge

Fudge can be as simple or as intricate as you make it. In the case of the peanut butter fudge that I created the other day, I kept it simple.

Here's what you'll need:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
Bring the sugar and the milk to a boil, then boil it for 2 1/2 minutes. Do not over or underboil. This is crucial. Remove from heat, and mix in the peanut butter and vanilla until creamy. Pour into a greased (or parchment papered) 8x8 baking dish and freeze for 15 minutes. Remove from the freezer and allow the fudge to warm to room temperature.
